Flight to OZ

Sorry it's taken so long. Been recuperating from the jetlag and getting back into work. Here are some pics of our flight to Australia on Qantas Airlines. Oh, and by the way, Qantas Rocks!!!

Erin with her wristbands on for motion sickness.

Our first meal "Dinner" was served about an hour and a half after we left at around midnight. It was a very nice spinach stuffed chicken breast with corn and bean compote and rice. We even got as much wine as we wanted to drink.

"Breakfast" was served about 11.5 hours into our flight with about 2 hours to go. It was a nice spinach and egg quiche, sausage, broiled tomato, yogurt, awesome muffin, OJ, and tea.

After "Dinner" they gave us this nice "snack" in case we got hungry or thirsty in the middle of the night. Water, cheese nips, oreos, life savers, and dried fruit. We used this time to watch several movies on our own personal entertainment systems. Sorry, forgot to get a pic of this. The screen is about 8"x6" and located just above the top of this picture in the headrest of the seat in front of you. On the way there we watched "Dodgeball" and "I, Robot". There was also a wired remote in the armrest that controlled it and served as a joystick for games.

As I said before, Qantas Rocks!!! They even gave us these gift bags filled with fresh socks, a toothbrush and paste, eyemask, and pouch to carry them in.

These 2 pics don't do the sunrise justice, believe me.

Our first glimpse of Australia

Qantas was a kick-ass airline. If the routes permitted it, we would fly with them more often. But seriously 13.5 hours, sheesh, our asses were tired.
